Sr. Technician

IME Motors is hiring for the position of Sr. Technician in Kathmandu (1 opening).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose running jobs such as clutch, brake, propeller shaft and front axle.
• Overhaul running jobs, including remove and refit work.
• Complete jobs within the specified repair time (ROT) on the job card assigned by the floor supervisor.
• Apply basic electrical knowledge: battery, starter motor and alternator.
• Carry out retro-fitment and modification jobs as advised by the mechanic or supervisor.
• Attend breakdown jobs as assigned by the supervisor.
• Remove, refit and adjust all ancillary items.
• Follow the mechanic's guidance on all technical jobs.
• Keep replaced parts correctly for warranty and paid jobs, as advised by the supervisor.
• Issue parts from the store for assigned jobs against the floor supervisor's requisition.
• Maintain workshop safety and discipline.
• Keep bays and the tool room clean.
• Take part in technical training organised by the training centre.
• Carry out other work assigned by the immediate supervisor.
